Weekends/Holidays: Tee time requests may be filled out by a person with a full membership. A weekly lottery is used for members tee times. The request cards can be entered anytime between Saturday morning and Tuesday by 10:00 a.m. A separate card is needed for each day's teem time request.

Members are not restricted to the number of guests they bring. All reserved tee times for guests will be guaranteed by the credit card submitted on the application. No-shows will be charged the prevailing rate. Member credit cards will remain on file in the Main Business Office. Members will be responsible for payment of reserved tee times.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to set tee time.

First offense for abusing the tee time policy will result in a warning. Further abuse will result in suspension of tee time privileges for a specific period of time at the discretion of management.

Single golfers or matches with more than four persons are not permitted on the golf course on Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays or when the course is busy. If you cannot arrange a playing partner the pro shop or starter may be able to assist you.

Rules for Teeing Off

All golf members, guests, and transients must sign the daily register with starter prior to commencing play.

No golfer may start on the tenth tee without the pro shops approval. Everyone shall obey requests of the starter, ranger and pro shop regarding rules on the driving range, practice greens and golf course. The ranger has full authority to speed up play and enforce the club dress code.

Golf Etiquette

Everyone using the course is requested to exercise the proper etiquette at all times. USGA rules will govern play except as modified by local rules.

In the interest of quick and better play, the utmost importance is placed on the following:

A ball should not be played until the preceding golfers are out of range. If a wild shot endangers other golfers, immediate loud warning by calling "fore" should be given. Care should be given before hitting any blind shots.

A group that fails to keep its place on course and loses one clean hole on the golfers in front must be passed. It is the duty of the golfers causing delay to promptly give notice to the following group to play through without waiting for a demand to be made.

Golfers looking for a lost ball must, within a reasonable time (less than 5 minutes), signal golfers following to pass. Having given such a signal, must stand aside and cease play until these golfers have passed and are out of range.

Enter and leave traps at low point. Carefully level and rake out footprints and marks of play in the sand.

Golf clubs and bags should not be permitted to fall or be placed on putting green. The flagstick should be laid on the green, not dropped. Pull carts are forbidden on or near tees or greens at any time.

Please pick up litter and dispose of properly in receptacles provided. Cigarettes and cigars should be disposed of properly and not be placed or left on the greens.

Only food and beverages purchased at the clubhouse, starter shack or golfers gulch are permitted on the course. Definitely NO COOLERS allowed.

Please replace divots and repair ball marks.

Practice Areas

The golf course is for regular play only and may not be used for practice at any time. Practice areas are available near the starter shack and clubhouse.

Power Carts

PCC management in consultation with the greens keeper will have the authority as to what day's power carts can or cannot be used due to weather and course conditions.

Power carts must be driven as specified by directional signs and instructions posted. Low wet spots should be avoided.

Power carts are not permitted closer than thirty feet to any green and never permitted on the tee.

Power carts will not carry more than two persons and two sets of clubs. Pembroke Country Club, Inc., does not assume responsibility for careless or improper use of rental carts, any expense incurred as a result will be charged to the user.

If regulations are violated, the use of power carts can be denied to the offending member or guest.

Power carts will be rented to adults and driven only be persons with a valid driver's license.

Upon completion of your round of golf, return power carts to the cart area by the starter shack near the first tee. Please remove any rubbish and return cart keys to cart person.

Dress Code

Cut-offs, short shorts, halter tops, undershirts or other clothing, more suitable for seaside than golf will not be permitted on the golf course or clubhouse. During the recent seasons, the pro shop has made an effort to correct and improve the dress code at Pembroke Country Club. Our pro shop has reasonable priced golf shirts available, if needed. We feel that it would be of great assistance to us in this effort if our members set an example in this area. As an example, golf slacks or golf shorts are preferred rather than sweatpants and dungarees.

Hours

The pro shop hours will be dictated by business, but normal regular business hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the summer season and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the off season. The greens keeper will earnestly endeavor to keep the course open for a maximum number of days. However, there will be times when weather conditions such as heavy rain, lightening, frost, etc. make it necessary for the good of the course and safety of the players to close for short periods of time.

Lockers and Locker Rooms

Lockers are available for use between March 1st through December 30th. Lockers must be cleaned and emptied by December 30. Everyone using the locker room area is requested to assist in keeping the area neat and clean. Pembroke Country Club, Inc. is not responsible for lost, missing, or stolen articles.
